The 45th Annual Interferry Conference will be making its way to Hobart in October 2020. The conference is described as being, “the premier event in the calendar of shipping conferences.” This is the third time that the ferry industry’s showcase event has been held in Australia, following Sydney in 1995 and Gold Coast in 2002. Interferry has more than 230-member companies – comprising operators and suppliers – in 37 countries.

Interferry prides itself on being able to attract some of the ferry industries key decision-makers, coming from a wide range of disciplines and backgrounds from owners/operators to interior designers.
Along with making a substantial contribution to Tasmania’s visitor economy, this is also a key win for BET’s Tasmanian Ambassador program, in promoting Tasmania’s burgeoning maritime industry.
BET member TT-Line Spirit of Tasmania will be the host company for the international conference and CEO Bernard Dwyer says: “We are truly excited by Interferry’s decision. The conference, combined with several days of networking and social events, is recognised as a must-do experience by industry professionals from all over the world. We can’t wait to welcome them.”
