Launceston Airport was recently rated 88 out of 100 for their commitment to sustainability, the highest rated airport, along with Melbourne Airport, in the world.

The airport has been recognized as part of the 2019 GRESB Infrastructure Assessment. The environmental, social and governance performance are assessed to determine the progress towards global sustainability. This is great news to promote access into the north of the state as well as to reinforce the importance of sustainability in Tasmania.
